The rod is a Shimano Catana 702 Soft Plastic Spin, and will cast all light lures and poppers intended for Whiting, Bream and Trout and will also be a good light bait fishing rod. The rod is a two piece so will fold away for storage and travel. The reel comes spooled with quality Daiwa J Braid X8 150m Chartreuse in 6lb, a great quality long casting line to get you that extra distance.
